It did a great job of putting into words what I suspect most people think. Giving phones to kids at a young age, and coddling them from real world play, and risk, has disastrous effects on their mental health. I'd highly recommend this book for any expectant parent, I think it would drastically change how you raise you kids.

A really interesting insight into the place I've chosen to work. It essentially tells a New Zealanders story of how she wanted to change the world and saw Facebook as a rising political power. It details Zuck's foray into politics, having previously been uninterested to apparently wanting to run for president. Super interesting story; doesn't instil me with much confidence for Meta's future, I'll say that much.

A bunch of short stories from the Horus Heresy universe. Really fun way to dip into a bunch of different legions!

We’re jumping to the aftermath of the Caliban chapter, Descent of Angels. The book is super fun because it follows Zahariel and the Lion in tandem, and they're both great stories!

This heresy business sure is complicated. It's becoming very difficult to know who the good and bad guys are in this thing.
9
We're following the underbelly of the Horus heresy here, where both sides are trying to assassinate the leaders of the other. I'd advise not getting too attached to basically anyone mentioned in this book; chances are, it doesn't end well for them...
9
Really interesting look at where the heresy series spawned from. Following the word bearers this time and seeing how the very first spark kicked off the rest of the heresy.
9
Pretty cool insight into the Space Wolves and how they work. We get to see their side of Magnus getting his shit rocked.
9
A fun collection of short stories; some insights into what happened on Isstvan V
8
The first story on Terra where we get more insights into what the endgame looks like for the oncoming war. Everybody dies of course, but a fun story.

We're following Corvus Corax and the The Raven Guard this time round, just after the dropsite massacre. This book was frustrating because you want them to win, and they kind of do but it's very bittersweet. I really wish the Alpha Legion would just go away
9
The battle of Calth! Pretty sick story; it turns out Lorgar actually has some moves
9
Horus is pretty chill, we take a planet or two, chaos exists but it ain't no thang!
9
Not a bad anthology; some hits and misses. Seeing what Fulgrim is up to is always super interesting; but the Alpha legion just doesn't grab me as much. If they don't trust anyone at all, it's really hard to know who to root for in their stories
7
Horus is less chill now, but hey, maybe he can bring it round
8
Horus has lost all semblance of chill, I now understand why it's called the Horus Heresy
9
Basically book 3 from the perspective of the Death Guard, and then a little after that. Bottom line - this chaos stuff is becoming a real problem
8
I'm starting to think that humans are not the good guys in this series. We're following Fulgrim in this book as the name suggests; he's making some... interesting decisions

Sort of a knight's tale but set in the universe of 40k. The story is set on a planet of knights, and they're hunting big beasties. It's a lot of fun!
8
We meet the Alpha Legion, who aren't really like the other 40k legions. They seem to use secrecy more than anything else which makes this book quite twisty turny.
8
The first intro to the Ultramarines, and the Thousand Sons, two pretty neat factions.
7
The heresy has spread to Mars! It was really cool reading about Earth’s “ally” in this one. It’s like a game of Factorio that got out of hand over there.
8
A collection of short stories with Geralt and Dandelion; the stories are all pretty good, but this was one of the first things Andrzej wrote, so it's not his best work.
7
Easily the most depressing book I've ever read. It takes post-apocalyptic to a whole new level. There aren't fun little gangs and societies just trying to get by. Everything is gone, they can't even find new shoes, let alone food. Really bleak.
9
Another collection of short stories; I remember these being really funny. "Eternal Flame", the story about the doppler is great. "A Little Sacrifice", the story with the mermaid, also great. The dialog took a huge step up from the first book.

Things are kicking off, everybody's gone to war with everybody, and all of the main characters are splintered in every direction. Let's see how the next book goes!
